Cone Pack is a collective of ceramic artists with a shared vision to create a contemporary clay community in the Fargo-Moorhead region. Cone Pack shares a mission to connect audiences and makers. Through community outreach, public lectures, ceramic-based exhibitions, and studio sales, we aim to provide a glimpse into the making process as well as expanding the visibility of ceramics in the region.

Why the name Cone Pack?

Pyrometric cones are used in ceramics to help identify what temperature the kiln is at. Each cone will melt or begin to bend at a specific temperature. When 3 or more cones are arranged together, it is called a cone pack-- hence the name Cone Pack! (Just a little clay-play-on-words).
